This age-old question has intrigued humanity for millennia, facilitating self-discovery, wisdom cultivation and moral development. In this workshop we will participate in a process of addressing this question through intentional discussion along with some basic yogic practices of breathing, meditation and somatic movement.

Broderick Rodell, PhD ND E-RYT is an educator whose passion and calling is to aid others in the art of practicing a life well-lived. He sees his role as guide to those interested in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and practices that will enable them to develop the characteristics that are conducive to self-realization, wellbeing, and flourishing. He is a yoga practitioner and teacher that embraces a broad spectrum of philosophies and practices from past to present over various traditions and disciplines. Capoeira, a Brazilian dance/martial art, is also one of his teaching instruments for developing character and building community. Broderick is also the host of the Reflections on Living Well podcast where he explores perspectives on good life through candid conversations with folks from various social, cultural, and professional backgrounds.

Though Broderick has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, his appetite for learning is unquenchable. He considers himself a lifelong student with a broad interest in everything related to the human condition. Broderick believes that invaluable insight into the possibility of a life well lived is gained by taking an integrated approach to learning about ourselves and the world from a manifold of perspectives.
